Gideon Keydar, Chairman and CEO

Gideon Keydar established ActiveLinks in 1996. ActiveLinks is a global leader in technology IP trading and business development. It collaborates with major companies in activities including patent trade, market development, investments and joint ventures. The company is partnered with strong local groups in the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Before founding ActiveLinks, Gideon held senior excecutive positions in corporate level business development at companies including Scitex Corporation, a billion-dollar multinational company. While at Scitex, he was also responsible for creation and management of joint ventures with companies such as Kodak and Silicon Graphics. Prior to this, Gideon served in senior Research & Development positions. He has also participated in the establishment of two start-up companies: Nanodata, in the United States, and Nogatech in Israel. Gideon is a graduate of the State University at Buffalo NY and is a graduate of business and life coaching school.


Yehoram Uziel, Board Member Yehoram Uziel is the founder, President and CEO of Soligen Technologies, Inc. (est. 1992), which developed and commercialized digital rapid prototyping of 3-dimensional metal parts. Before this, Yehoram served as VP of Engineering at 3D Systems Inc., a pioneer of rapid prototyping equipment, and co-founded Optrotech, a pioneer of optical inspection of printed circuit boards. Prior to this, Yehoram served in engineering positions at El-Op, a manufacturer of electro optical systems; and at The Israel Armament Authority. Yehoram is a graduate of Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology.


Avner Karpol, Chief Technology Officer, Board Member
Avner Karpol is scientific consultant and board member of several companies involved in the high-tech areas of Electro-optical and medical instrumentation, as well as semiconductor equipment.
Avner was the R&D manager of El-Op (www.elop.com), the largest Electro-Optical company in Israel; the co-founder of Optrotech, (www.orbotech.com), and of Talia Technology, (www.talia.com). He also served as the Chief Scientist of Applied Materials in Israel.Avner has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Israel’s Technion Institue of Technology.


Enrique A. Delgado, Partner, South Europe
Enrique A. Delgado is currently a principal and patent attorney, at Delgado & Associates, Patent Law Firm in Madrid, Spain. The firm practice covers patent law, including litigation. Together with other strategic partners, the firm owns the websites www.trademarca.com for trademarks; and www.fusya.es for technology transfer. Enrique has served as a professor in the Madrid Bar Association. He holds law degrees from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York; Complutense University, Madrid; and has a Master’s degree in Financial and Tax Law from the Center of Financial Studies, Madrid.


Todd Walzer, Partner, Japan
Todd Walzer is the CEO and founding partner of iLand6 (www.iland6.com), Tokyo, Japan, and a pioneer in business development for high-tech in Japan. He is fluent in English, Hebrew and Japanese. Todd lectures frequently about technology-related subjects. Previously, he served as manager of information systems at Intel Electronics in Jerusalem. Todd is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, and an Israel and U.S. national.


Paul Mes, Partner, United Kingdom
Paul Mes is a sales and marketing executive with considerable experience across a wide range of industries, including electronics, publishing, specialist printing and consumer software, holding senior positions to Director level. Previously General Manager of Texas Instruments Consumer Division for Northern Europe and has also acted as intermediary and agent for software and systems developers seeking licences from and marketing agreements with top European Football clubs such as Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Glasgow Rangers as well as NFL teams in the USA.


Raphael Oeschger, Partner, Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Raphael Oeschger has more than15-years of experience as an entrepreneur, director and business consultant for start-ups and SMEs in Europe, most in the IT and telecommunications sector. He has also served in senior Sales & Business Development positions at Digital Equipment; Sprint; and Global One; and as MD EMEA at Digital Island. Raphael holds a Master’s in European and International Business Law (M.B.L.-HSG) and a Master’s in Business Economics (lic.rer.pol). A Swiss citizen, he is fluent in German, French and English, and also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.


Abraham Shapira, Partner, Taiwan and Hong Kong
Abraham Shapira is the CEO of Huang Lung Engineering (HLE, est. 1987), in Taipie, Taiwan. HLE is a business development company which represents high-tech companies in Taiwan and promotes joint ventures and investments. With extensive knowledge of the high-tech business communities in both the west and the Far East, HLE is Taiwan’s leader in promoting high-tech business with foreign companies. HLE has a long track record of creating successful and significant business in the Far East for its worldwide clients. Prior to establishing HLE, Abraham represented Tadiran Telecommunication in Taiwan.
